Him

They ask
About the one
Who should not be seen
And lenses become mirrors
Then shatter
Into seven thousand shards
That flay alike
My flesh and mind
Until
Crimson runs the river of my tears
And only brick by careful
Brick
Bound by the tightest woven threads
Can block black
The callous cutting cruelty
Of his eyes.
