Lover's Leaves

Behind each twinkling star
And 'neath each wand'ring wave
Meand'ring with the moon
Each unseen turning clinking cog
And uncoiling of spring
Marks step and time
As tumbling twirling leaves
Mimic with wafting moves
The self same steps
Of twin lovers dancing
'neath smiling sparkling stars
'side softly splashing wave
'low lofty laughing moon.
